Mr. Alan Eugene Beard, age 62, of Rome, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, at a local hospital.
Alan was born on September 4, 1963, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late Charles Henry Beard and the late Faye Annie Beard Rowland. He was a long-time member of Wilkerson Road Baptist Church. Alan worked as a salesman at Wittichen Supply Company in Rome for 20+ years. He enjoyed being actively involved at his church and studying his Bible. His greatest love was his family, especially spending time with his grandsons.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, MaKayla Beard Case (Troy), Nicholas Beard (Katie), and Logan Beard; his grandsons, Maverick Case and Colter Case; his siblings, Janis Worley (Charles), Gary Charles Beard (Darlene), and Brian Beard (Mary); his nieces and nephews, Kaycee Beard, Jacob Beard, Megan Beard, Hunter Beard, Brittini Beard, Brandi Beard, Rhianna Bailey, and Krushinda Brannon; the mother of his children, Kimberly Ineichen; numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Wilkerson Road Baptist Church, at 2:00pm, with Pastor Steve Spears officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Road Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 1:00pm until the hour of service.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church on Wednesday by 1:30pm and include Nick Beard, Logan Beard, Jacob Beard, Hunter Beard, Troy Case, Brian Beard, and Jarred Peoples.
