ISLE LA MOTTE - Alan G. "Buzzy" Buswell, age 80, passed away on May 6th, 2025, at the University Medical Center in Burlington surrounded by his loved ones.
Alan was born on August 10th, 1944, in Norwich, England to the late George and Doreen (Potter) Buswell.
A Navy veteran, Alan embraced life, often found fishing, hunting, or enjoyed trips to the casino or a friendly game of cribbage. His love for nature drew him to the outdoors. Alan was married to his devoted wife, Vickie Buswell, on October 30, 1971. He had a fondness for camaraderie, often sharing a cold Coors Light with friends at the American Legion on Friday nights or a cup of coffee at the locate gas station.

In addition to his parents, Alan was predeceased by his siblings, David Buswell, Roger Buswell and his wife Donna, and Janet Buswell; brother-in-law, Tony Austin; and his father-in-law, Alvin Lockerby.
