Alan Gabaldon, a loving husband, father,, and friend, peacefully departed this world on November 29th, 2023, at the age of 62. Surrounded by his cherished loved ones, Alan passed away in the comfort of his home.
Alan is survived by his devoted wife Linda, and his two sons Joseph Gabaldon and Michael Chavez. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings Karen Gabaldon, Jo Anne Ortega, and Fred Gabaldon. Alan was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well as a dear friend to numerous extended family members.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alan was a lifelong resident of the city he called home. He spent over 25 years as a skilled cosmetologist before embarking on a new path as a truck driver. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the open road while riding his cherished Harley Davidson motorcycle alongside Linda. Together they discovered the wonders of countless scenic locations. Alan also had a passion for baseball and delighted in attending games of both the LA Dodgers and the local team Isotopes.
Alan's infectious smile and laughter brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm presence will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Alan's life will take place on January 18th, 2024 at Legacy Church located at 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The memorial service will commence at 10:00 am with a reception following in honor of Alan's life well-lived.
In this time of mourning, we remember Alan Gabaldon for the love he shared and the happiness he brought into our lives. May his spirit forever shine brightly in our hearts.
