Alan Douglas Hallauer, age 71, of Denver, passed away peacefully at home on December 01, 2024 with family and friends by his side.
Alan married the love of his life Kevin Peck in 2016 in Webster, New York. Although they were only married for 8 years, they were a happy couple for over 25 years. Alan will be remembered most for his giant smile, his love for anything tech, all things Disney related, his love for the theater and musicals, his 25 years of service as a volunteer at the Denver Nature & Science Museum, learning new things, helping others and daily facetime chats with his siblings.
Alan is survived by his husband Kevin, his brother Glenn (Patti), his sister Gail (Mark) Hall, nieces Lisa (Alex) DiFrancisco, Savannah Murphy-Peck, nephews John Hallauer, James (Claire) Hall, Thomas Hall, Ciaran Peck, Liam Peck and other family and a great many friends. Alan was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Irma (Musclow) Hallauer.
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2025 in Webster, New York where Alan was born and raised.
In lieu of flowers, Alan’s preference would be that you help support a foundation he gave to regularly, the Children’s Hospital of Colorado Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic. Your donation will help support summer and winter camps to help local kids with cleft lips and palates.
The camp does not currently accept electronic donations. If you’d like to contribute, you can send a check made out to “CHC Cleft Camp” with “Alan Hallauer” in the memo line and mail it to:
