Mr. Alan Edward Janeway, age 68 of New Tazewell, TN was born July 8, 1956 and passed away September 10, 2024. He retired from Torbett Oil Company as a truck driver. He was a member of the Straight Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his Father: Rev. Carson Janeway Grandparents: Samual Edward and Maggie Janeway Lawrence and Mossie Lee Bush First Cousin: Gregg Janeway
He is survived by his Mother: Mertie Janeway Wife: Brenda Janeway of 44 years Daughters: Christy Epperson and Eddie Overton, Kim Day and Matt Day Grandchildren: Tyler Epperson, Taylor Epperson, and Emma Day Great Grandchildren: Winston and Cora Epperson Brother: Larry Janeway and Kristie Nephews: Mike Janeway and Wife Carin, Chris Janeway and Wife Doris Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
Visitation and Funeral The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12, from 12PM until 2PM in the Straight Creek Baptist Church with Funeral Services to follow at 2PM with Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Music will be provided by Raychel Johnson and Vincent Bolden
Graveside Service Will be conducted Thursday, September 12 following the funeral services in the Burch Cemetery
Pallbearers Matt Day, Eddie Overton, Tyler Epperson, Terry Bush, Randy Wilmoth, Chris Janeway, and Jessie Lester
