Alan Kaddatz Obituary

Alan L. Kaddatz

September 19, 1955 - November 24, 2024

Alan L. Kaddatz, age 69, of Slades Corners, WI, died on November 24, 2024. Alan was born on September 19, 1955, in Burlington, WI, the son of the late Lawrence "Pat" and Irma (Yahnke) Kaddatz. He has been a lifelong resident of Slades Corners and a lifetime member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Slades Corners. He was a Past President of the Church Council and a current Council member. He also served as general manager of the church cemetery and has been the cemetery Treasurer since 1979. Alan never missed a Christmas Eve service, although he may have been a little tipsy at a few in his younger years. He was a great man of faith and knew heaven was his final home.

Alan graduated from Central High School in 1973. In January of 1973, while still in high school, he purchased his first portable restrooms. On February 21, 1981, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Alan married Marilyn Raduenz, his "Sweetie Pie".

Alan was President of PATS Services, Inc. He was devoted to his work and the liquid waste industry. He was a founding charter member of the WI Liquid Waste Carriers Association and served as Secretary/Treasurer for 40+ years. He also served on various DNR and DSPS committees.

Alan joined the Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department in 1976 and served as Fire Chief from January 1990 through December 2010. His most memorable fire call was the tornado of January 7, 2008. Alan was a beloved member of the community and was a friend to all. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Alan loved supporting the youth of the community at the Kenosha, Racine and Walworth County Fairs, along with the fair pie auctions. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, the Indianapolis 500 and Andy Griffith reruns.

Alan is survived by his wife, Marilyn; and his brother, Wayne (Mary) Kaddatz. He is uncle to Dean Kaddatz, Grant (Jamie) Kaddatz, Sarah Kaddatz (Jon Kvitky), Jeremie (Morgan) Siegler, Dakota (Jenna) Siegler and Savannah Siegler; great-uncle to Cash, Ryder and Harvest Siegler; and brother-in-law to Mark Raduenz (Ruth Epping) and Marleen (Jerry) Siegler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law: Edward and Joan Raduenz; and sister-in-law, Marie "Tillie" Raduenz.

Rest in peace Alan knowing your family, friends and the community will miss you and will remember you in their hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 39506 60th St, Burlington, WI (Slades Corners). Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
