Dr. Alan R. Swiecicki, MD
Formerly of Haddon Heights
On March 6, 2025, Dr. Alan Swiecicki, age 85, formerly of Haddon Heights, NJ peacefully passed away at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was born on May 11, 1939 in Camden, NJ and spent his childhood in Haddon Heights where he graduated high school in 1957. He was a proud graduate of Muhlenberg College and Hahnemann University. Alan was a dedicated General Surgeon for over 40 years and spent most of his career at West Jersey/Virtua Hospital, as well as maintaining a private practice in Haddon Heights until his retirement. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Sixers fan.
Dr. Swiecicki was predeceased by his brother, Dr. Martin Swiecicki, Jr. He is lovingly survived by his children, Donna Hale (Jeff) of Medford Lakes, NJ, Paul Breme (Cindy) of Doylestown, PA, Andrew Swiecicki (Caroline) of Haddonfield, NJ and Lori Ross (Jay) of Fairfield, CT. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Sean, Ian, Erin, Jack, Claire, Mia, Noah, Violet and Harlyn; his sister-in-law, Gloria Swiecicki as well as several nieces and one nephew; and former partner and lifelong dear friend Debra Swiecicki.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Sunday, March 9th from 10:00 AM - 11:30 A.M. at HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ where his Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Interment Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org)
