Alan Victor Teubert, age 80, of Hutchinson passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born on May 6, 1945 in Glencoe the son of Guenther & Thea (Enerson) Teubert.
Alan was baptized on June 3 rd, 1945 at The Bergen Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. He was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on February 7, 1960 at Bergen Lutheran Church. His Confirmation memory verse was Revelation 2: 10
He graduated from Central High School in Norwood/Young America on May 16, 1963.
On May 6, 1975, Alan V. Teubert and Joan L. Fiecke were joined in holy marriage in Watertown, South Dakota.
Alan later attended The National School of Meat Cutting in Toledo, Ohio and worked for Super Valu. On October 4, 1966, he started working at Advance Machine Company. Al took many classes to work his way up to Assistant Plant Manager. He retired on October 4, 2000.
Al belonged to the Laughing Trout Fly Fishing Club and enjoyed many flyfishing trips to Branson, Missouri, Montana, South Dakota, New Mexico and Florida.
He built bamboo fly rods, drift boats and made wooden Christmas gifts for his grandchildren. Al played the Dulicmer. He often played Santa Claus. Al loved camping, camp fires, deer hunting in Northern Minnesota, Elk hunting in New Mexico and belonged to The West Side C B Club.
He was known for Al's funny farm which raised exotic birds, nanny goats and miniature horses.
Survived by his loving wife: Joan; children: Lisa, Brian (Deb), Cheri (Rich), Mark (Pam), Chad (Nikki) and Leif (Hope); grandchildren: Alicia (Ruben), Breanna (Whitney), Thea (Jacob), Chance, Amanda (Troy), Beau (Hannah), Ashley (Ashley), Britani, Chelsea (Wayne), Daniel (Kelsey), Steven (Laura), Logan, Anya, Alyson (Tyler), Wyatt (Greta), Layne, Parker, Nolan, Ashton, Benny and Jackson; twenty-three great grandchildren; a sister: Mary Lou; a sister-in-law: Mary Ann; mother -in-law Leona Fiecke; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Eugene Fiecke, sister Shirley (Dwayne) Schrupp, brothers Albert "Sonny" (Mary Ann) Teubert and John Teubert, son-in-law Cliff Knoll, nephews Larry Schrupp, Joel Teubert and Larry "J.R." Pogue and by nieces Darlene Walker and Shelly Teubert.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. until time of service at Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake, MN.
A Funeral Service for Alan Teubert will be held on Tuesday, November 4th at 5:00 P.M. at Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake, MN. Dr. Tom Rakow will officiate.
Casket Bearers will be Sammy Batzel, Chip Meyer, Randy Lages, Chris Brerens, Chance Knoll and Greg Pogue.
