Alan Eric Wiles, 59, of Cheshire, MA, formerly of Williamstown, MA, died Tuesday March 25, 2025 at North Adams Regional Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1965 in North Adams, a son of the late Frank E. Wiles Sr. and Phyllis Dorothy (Josephson) Wiles.
Alan attended schools in Williamstown and graduated Mt. Greylock High School in 1983. He worked as a chef at Williams College for a number of years. After that, Alan started his own construction company Anything is Possible Home Improvements. He was a former member of the Greylock Lodge of Mason's. Alan enjoyed ice and rock climbing, being out on the boat, and had a love for dogs and training them.
Alan Leaves behind his wife, Laurie (Bump) Wiles of Cheshire, MA whom he married on June 30, 2007, brothers Frank Wiles Jr, Pittsfield, David Wiles (Billie-Joe), Bennington, sisters Elizabeth Garcia (Jorge), Nancy Griffin (Tim), Pownal, VT, mother-in-law Barbara Bump, brother-in-law Michael Bump (Diana), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alan is predeceased by his sister Diane Miller and father-in-law Tom Bump.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Alan Wiles will take place at 11:00 AM, Saturday April 5, 2025 at Flynn & Dagnoli-West Chapel, 521 West Main St, North Adams, MA 01247. Calling hours will take place the same day from 9-11 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or No paws Left Behind in care of the funeral home.
