Albert Wayne Armbrust was born on June 8, 1926, to William and Lydia (Milbrandt) Armbrust in rural Truman, MN at the same house he lived his entire life. Albert was a passionate farmer who raised cattle, pigs and chickens along with growing corn and soybeans. He loved to be outside working around his farm, mowing his yard and raising a garden. Albert was known for having tomatoes and would often can them and give them to others. Faith was a cornerstone to Albert and he loved God and sharing his love with others. He was a longtime member of Waverly Lutheran Church and was active on many church boards. He was also a member of the Waverly Town Board. Besides his faith, family was the most important thing to Albert and he cherished his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Joel (Diane) Armbrust of Fairmont, MN and their children and grandchildren, Ben (Amber) Armbrust and son, Waylon, Eric (Alissa) Armbrust and children, Holdynn and Willow, Angela (Alan) Korte and children, Roman and Nora and Rachel (Andy) Jones and children, Vera and Lennon, daughter, Ruth (Lon) Firchau of Mankato, MN and their children and grandchildren, Jada (Douglas) Draper and son, Oscar and Paige (Kyle) Thomas and children, Merrick and Waverly and daughter, Mary (Bart) Haake of Pepin, WI and children, Jordan Haake and Caiden Haake; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Audrey Armbrust, Marian Johnson and Lowell Ek; special nephew, Larry Johnson; and many other nieces, nephews and extended family.

Our four kids loved being around Albert as he was so much fun. He and the other uncles and grandpa Pete were so entertaining when they came to Bemidji for deer hunting and stayed with us. Of course I always enjoyed time with him too.
Prayers for his family at this difficult time. Enjoy and share his memories with each other.
