Albert Ray Campbell, 79, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home in Lascassas. Born in 1946, he was the son of the late Willie and Ruth Singleton Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Carol Minks of Murfreesboro and his children, Eugenia Baker and Michael Dale Campbell both of Scottsburg, IN., and Angie Campbell of Shelbyville. 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A member of the Church of Christ, he was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in Vietnam. He worked in Excavation. He was a mild-mannered loving man and was notorious for making people happy. Ray enjoyed fishing, camping, a car collector, and loved interacting with wildlife.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Coleman cemetery with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.
