Albert Casagrande Obituary
Albert J. Casagrande, of East Haven, passed away peacefully at his home on December 2, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Ann Parisi Casagrande. Born in New Haven on November 29, 1928, son of the late Enrico and Elisa Maria Casagrande. Albert was a proud US Navy veteran. Upon his honorable discharge, he became the owner of East Haven Autobody. He later worked for Automotive Appraisers for 30 years and retired from Gillette Autobody after a long successful career. Albert was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a longtime member of the Wing Ding Golfers who played at Alling Memorial and was a member of the ABC Club with his wife and friends.
He was the proud father of Lisa Casagrande-Lodato (Mario) and Maria Hopkins (David Walters). Loving grandfather of Bianca Allen (Matthew) and great grandfather of Zachary Allen. Brother of the late Eugene, Raymond and Lino Casagrande.
Visiting hours will be Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Pl., New Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at St. Vincent dePaul Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven at 11 a.m. The burial, with full military honors will be in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Assn., www.heart.org. Share a memory or leave a message of condolence at www.iovanne.com.

My condolences to the whole Casagrande family. I have fond memories of Uncle Al and family coming up to Triangle Terrace Danbury for the Danbury Casagrande picnics & events. The laughter & family togetherness was great. As also a twin & named Albert, I never forgot Uncle Al Cass ! Sorry I could not be with you all today but thinking of you all today.
