Albert G. Frost III of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025. He was 76 years old.

Known for his quiet strength, dry wit, and unwavering kindness, Al lived a life rooted in authenticity. He was the kind of person who showed up-whether it was for a neighbor in need, a friend going through a rough patch, or a family member who just needed to talk. He didn't seek the spotlight, but his presence was always felt.

He started his career working for the Denver Public Libraries before moving on to the phone company US West / Dex. Al took pride in his work with listings and advertisements in the phone book, however, it was his role as a father, friend, and mentor that defined him most. He taught us how to be steady in chaos, how to listen without judgment, and how to find joy in the small things-a good book, a cup of hot tea, a well-timed joke, gardening, and listening to music.

He is survived by his children, Allison and Edward (Ted), who will carry forward his legacy of compassion and resilience.

We'll miss him deeply, but we intend to honor him by living with the same grace and generosity he gave to all of us.

In keeping with his wishes, a memorial gathering will be held to celebrate his life: September 26th, 2pm, at Fairmount Cemetery.
