Albert Giancarli, 97, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on June 23.
Albert married Cindy (Cinderella) DiStefano Giancarli in 1953 and they were married for 72 years until her death in 2024.
Albert was a loving son to his parents, Angelo and Nicolina Giancarli and his wonderful in-laws, Mary and Mariano DiStefano.
Albert is survived by a daughter, Linda DeAngelis and sons, Albert and Michael Giancarli. He had five grandchildren, Stefanie Callahan (Donald), Nicholas, Melissa, Laura and Robert Giancarli as well as two great grandchildren, Donnie and Olivia Callahan. He had many nieces and nephews.
Albert dedicated his life to being a wonderful husband and father. He was always supportive and ready to lend a hand or start a home project for his family. Albert lived with his daughter, next door to his granddaughter/grandson, Stefanie and Donald Callahan and their children for the past four years in Delaware. He played with Donnie and Olivia daily either throwing the football, kicking the soccer ball or playing Rummy. They brought so much joy to his life. Albert loved the outdoors and tending the flowers/garden.
Albert was born in Ripi, Italy and migrated to the United States in 1947. He has been a member of the Heavy and General Laborers' Local 172 for 75 years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
