Albert M. Guarini, of Laurel Springs, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on February 13, 1954, in Philadelphia, Albert was the beloved husband of Betty Guarini (nee Massare) and the cherished father of Albert J. Guarini (Erin). His joyful spirit lives on through his treasured grandchildren, Ava and Alexa Guarini. Albert was the devoted brother of Jeanette Berry (Chuck) and was predeceased by his brothers Gerald J. Guarini (Dolly) and John S. Guarini (the late Kathleen), as well as by his parents John A. and Jeanette A. (nee Maglio) Guarini. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Dr. Joseph Massare, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Happily married for 45 years to his beloved wife, Betty Guarini (nee Massare), Albert was a devoted family man.
A proud graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, class of 1972, Albert furthered his education studying accounting at Drexel University, ultimately earning a bachelor's degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007. For many years he was in the printing bindery business, where his demeanor and work ethic were deeply valued.
Music was one of his greatest passions; notably playing drums in a band with his brother. His passions extended to his Lionel train collection, his flourishing summer garden-tomatoes, his pride-and cooking lavish meals. He was a dedicated fan of The Beatles, whose music resonated with his soul.
Al was a devout Catholic, and longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Parish (St. Agnes) in Blackwood, NJ. He was a 4th Degree Knight with Holy Crusaders Council #9193 Knights of Columbus; his selflessness and service touched many lives.
Al led a life marked by loving kindness. His selfless nature touched all who knew him, and his memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and community. His departure is deeply felt, and he will be dearly missed.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where his Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30. Urn entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Hope parish in Al's memory would be appreciated.

I always enjoyed band practice at Albert's house, we had a synergy (drums and bass). His mother would always make us the most delicious sandwiches. It saddens me he is gone.

My deepest condolences to Betty, Albert, Erin, Ava and Alexa. I first met Betty & Al 11 years ago when we brought home our pugs, they were siblings. From the moment I met them, they were nothing short of warm, welcoming and loving. I am so grateful to call them family and I am so incredibly saddened at this turn of events. Al, you were taken much too soon. I will surely miss your wonderful smile and your kind heart. I so enjoyed our conversations and hearing about your beautiful granddaughters. Rest in eternal peace, my dear friend, I know Angel is by your side. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His Hand. God Bless you, Al.
