Albert J. Gugliotti, 91 of Waterbury died Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Vitas Inpatient Unit at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Stella (Feola) Gugliotti.
Al was born in Waterbury on February 19, 1933 a son of the late Albert and Rose (Sodano) Gugliotti. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and he was the longtime maître d' at the 1249 West Restaurant from its opening in 1964 to its closing in 1994.
He leaves his wife Stella "Babe" Gugliotti and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was pre-deceased by his sister Mary DeLucia.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 3rd at St. Leo the Great Church at 11:00 a.m. Calling hour Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. A private Military Funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
