All Night Parties for his kids and their classes and he performed many times at the CYC Regatta shows for friends there as well. He has been performing for 20 years as Cab Calloway at friends and families weddings, reunions and parties with Minnie the Moocher (the Hi-Di Hi-Di Ho song)! He would recreate the words specific to the people and event he was performing for. In the mid-late 80s he formed a group Uncle Al, His Pals and the Gals and wrote and sang a song titled "Browns Are Hot" it was played a number of times on the radio and performed live at The Hog's Breath in Rocky River. He bestilled our hearts. He brought joy and laughter to all. He was always Kiddin' and Cuttin' Up If you were lucky you'd be invited to the Leatherman Laugh Lounge! Past President of the Lorain County Dental Society. He loved to dance (member of Winterset Dance Club for many years) - swing dancing and the electric slide were among his favorites. He was a wonderful storyteller and always had a joke to share. In the last four years he and his companion, Marilyn had cruised all over the world loving to travel, dance and perform as Cab Calloway even on the ships. He enjoyed bridge, crosswords, cryptograms and sudokus. And he loved to garden and tinker in the yard. Al also loved to play chauffer, picking up friends at the airport in his Lincoln Town Car and chauffer's cap holding a sign with the last name of the visitor. What a hoot! He will be missed by all.
