Albert E. Ley Jr.
August 24, 1943 - August 7, 2025

Albert E. Ley Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. Born in Wilmington, Al was the son of the late Frances (Toner) and Albert E. Ley Sr. He graduated from Brown Vocational High School, class of 1960. A proud native Delawarean, he honorably served for five years in the National Guard and later retired after more than 30 years of dedicated work at Automation Inc.

Al was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Priscilla Ley; his son, Joseph A. Ley; his granddaughter, Regina Ley; and his parents.

He is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Shannon (Tommy) Loveland and Heather (Jonathan) Wolfe; his daughter-in-law, Kim Ley; and his grandchildren, Brietta, Nicholas, Joshua, Andrew, Matthew, and Adley. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Jack, who was a constant and loyal companion in his later years.

Albert E. Ley Jr. will be remembered for his love of electronics and games, and his deep devotion to his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
