Skip Lormis, of High Ridge, Missouri, was born on May 5, 1962, in Valley Park, Missouri, to Albert J. and Gladys (née Wilson) Lormis. He entered into rest on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in St. Louis City, Missouri, at the age of 63 years.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gladys (née Wilson) Lormis and his beloved dog Macey.

He is survived by his loving children, Albert L. (Amy) Lormis and Tabitha Lormis; his siblings, Eddie Lormis, Pam Lormis, and Leann (Jerry) Atley; and his cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Emmajo, and Bobby.

Skip was a simple man who found joy in life's everyday moments. He was a huge NASCAR fan and could often be found watching races while listening to his favorite country music. Sundays were especially meaningful to him, spent hosting barbecues with family and friends, sharing good food, laughter, and conversation. Skip loved tinkering in his garage, always working on a project or fixing something just for the satisfaction of it. He had a special bond with his beloved dog, Macey, who recently passed and was never far from his side. Above all, Skip treasured time with those he loved and will be remembered for his easygoing nature and steady presence.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016.
