Albert Ralph Messore 49 of East Haven passed away October 25, 2024 after battling a long health illness. He was born December 3, 1974 in New Haven. Albert is survived by his wife, MaryJane (DellaValle) Messore of East Haven, his father, Ralph Albert Messore (widower of Beatrice) of North Haven, his mother, Georgianna (Proto) Goodrum (Garfield) of East Haven and three sisters; Holli Sines (Don) of Middleton, Idaho, Christi Messore (Cosimo Amorotti) of New Haven and Beatrice Horvat-Tennyson (Mark) of New London. He is also survived his aunt, Theresa Houde, cousin, Richard Houde, lifelong friend, Stephen Mauriello along with many nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles and cousins. Albert also leaves his brother and sister-in-laws; Andrea Duprey, Mark DellaValle, Jody Irwin (Shawn), Rebecca LaPointe (Michael) and Robert DellaValle (Laronda).
He is preceded in death by his brother, John Horvat, maternal and paternal grandparents, Christopher and Viola Proto and Albert and Immaculata Messore.
Albert was a loving husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He graduated from Eli Whitney Tech School and worked in the New Haven area. He was an avid NY Yankee fan and loved listening to Elvis. He enjoyed playing words with friends, time on the play station, but what he valued most, was spending time with his wife, family, friends and his cat, "Jasper."
The family would like to say "Thank You" to the Yale ICU, Proto, Messore and DellaValle families for all their kind and compassionate care of Albert over the last few months.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday October 31, 2024 at 10 AM in Michael McGivney Parish at the Church of St. Michael, 29 Wooster Street, New Haven CT 06511. Please go directly to the church on Thursday. Burial will be private. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT 06512. Donations may be made to the East Haven Animal Shelter, 183 Commerce Street, East Haven CT 06512 in memory of Albert Messore.
