Anthony S. Messore, 71, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Dion) Messore.
Born and raised in Providence, Anthony was the son of the late Rocco and Frances (Melucci) Messore. He spent many years as a talented cabinet maker with William Bloome & Sons, where his craftsmanship and dedication were deeply valued until his retirement.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Janice, his cherished daughter, Susie Sherman, her children, Aridanie, Nardiea, Luis and Xavier Alvardo with great-grandson, Messiah Luis Alvarado Sena; and his dear siblings: Michael Messore, Robert Messore, and Virginia Duffy.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Catholic Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anthony’s memory may be made to Paws Watch, P.O. Box 7005, Warwick, RI 02887.
