Albert Joseph Nahra Jr.

Albert Joseph Nahra, Jr., "Auk," died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Albert was the devoted son of Albert and Elizabeth (Nee Francis). He is survived by his devoted sister Marie Bailey (the late Walter A. Bailey, Jr.); his brother James (the late Sandra), and numerous adoring nieces and nephews and their children. He is preceded in death by sister Miriam; sister Shirley (Christopher) Dasaro; sister Jeanette (Joseph) Moses and sister Yvonne.
Albert had an incredibly charismatic personality, and to his family he was the Chairman of the Board. He brought magic and sunshine everywhere he went. He was devoted to his family and to so many of his friends. The world is quieter without him. Elvis has left the building.
Albert will lie in state on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral liturgy at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church, 11466 Kercheval Avenue, Detroit, MI 48214. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101.
