Albert A. Papp

Albert A. Papp, age 92, of Tallmadge, formerly of Kinsman, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. He was born in Lowellville, Ohio, on February 22, 1933, to the late Alexander J. and Mary E. Marszinko Papp. Albert was a dedicated father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who found his greatest joy in being surrounded by his family. A hardworking and determined man, he built his business from the ground up, proudly selling insurance for Nationwide alongside his wife Patti. Over the years, his clients became lifelong friends-people who knew him well, trusted him deeply, and appreciated how wholeheartedly he cared for those he served. He treasured his time hunting in Canada with the boys and fondly recalled the many family trips to their cabin-teaching his grandchildren how to call for moose, fishing on the lake, and retelling stories that always brought a smile to his face. Albert also enjoyed flying planes, a passion that gave him a sense of adventure and freedom throughout his life. He was an enthusiastic fan of Ohio sports, faithfully cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Guardians. If a game was on, he was sure to be watching. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patti, and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Jean (Gregory) Morocco of Brookfield, Ohio; two sons, Edward Arthur (Debra) Papp of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Michael Kelly (Michelle) Papp of Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren-Nicole, Sandi, Darci, Eddie, Joey, and Samantha; eight great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jim (Sue) Papp. A funeral service, officiated by Eddie Papp, will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH 44428.
