Linesville – Andover's longtime barber, Patrick M. Kennedy, 78, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 in Meadville, PA. Patrick was born on September 13,1947 in Warren, OH, a son of the late Fred and Ann Kennedy. He was a graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School and worked in the oil fields before fulfilling his dream of going to barber school. He was well known as the barber of Andover and owned his own shop, "Pat's Barber Shop". He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He loved the Lord, reading the King James Bible, and playing music such as guitar and saxophone. Pat will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Jane Kennedy; children, Karyn (Skip) Smith, Amy (Jarred) Hart, Aaron (Courtney) Kennedy, and Nathan Kennedy; grandchildren Chad Smith, Erica Necessary, Brooklynn (Travis) Bakos, Amber (Ransen) Hawkins, Kasey (Tyler) Musick, Sayge Kennedy, Mya Kennedy, Carly James, Logan Hart, Harrison Kennedy, Elliot Kennedy, Madison Kennedy, Makayla Kennedy, and Morgan Kennedy; and great grandchildren Patrick, Kael, Reina, Aubree, Iris, Dimitri, Ivan, Samantha, Charlie, Junior, Chris, Issak, Oliver, Kadence Jo, Brantley, and Braelynn; brother Fred (Carol) Kennedy and sister Cindy (Todd) Kennedy-Caudle. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael (Yvette) Kennedy. Family and friends may visit from 10-12:00PM on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Baumgardner Funeral Home located at 134 Prospect St. in Andover. Funeral services will follow at 12:00PM. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at First United Methodist Church in Andover.
