Daniel Smith

Daniel P. Smith, age 75, of Andover, OH, died Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Pine Grove Health Care Center in Geneva,OH. He was born November 10, 1950, in Conneaut, OH, the son of Floyd M. and Mabel C. (Baker) Smith. Daniel was a 1969 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School and was a lifelong Andover resident employed as a truck driver for many years. He was a veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Army. Daniel is survived by his son, Shane Smith and daughter-in-law, Amy Smith of Santa Rosa, CA, a granddaughter, Cora; his sister, Althea (Charles) Torbert of Winter Haven, FL, and brother, Michael Smith of Naples, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Marilyn Ruth and Linda Smith. Burial of Daniel's cremated remains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover, OH.
