Albert Joseph Roberta

Albert Joseph Roberta, 86, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2022.
Born September 18, 1935, in Collingdale, PA, he was the son of the late Albert J., Sr., and Christine (nee Mongelluzzi) Roberta.
Albert proudly served in the U.S. Army in the C battery 495th AAA missile battalion. He was employed for over 30 years as a crane operator with the Pennsylvania Electric Company and drove a bus for over 20 years with the Marple Newtown School District.
Albert was the beloved husband of Cheryl L. (nee Nori) Roberta for 29 years; loving father of Paul Roberta (Patty), and two step daughters, Tammy Edwards (Tony), and Debra Morris(Kirk); adoring grandfather of Erica Roberta Morris (Zac), Michael Roberta, Tyler Morris (Caitlyn), Zachary Morris, Bailey Edwards, and Lucas Edwards; caring great-grandfather of Aubrey Morris and Mia Morris; dear brother of Nancy Wilson (William) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings: Jean Larkins and Christine Germano.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 12 – 1:30 PM, Friday, February 18, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by his Memorial Service at 1:30 PM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you are able to please consider donating blood. Albert received blood infusions weekly and was always worried about the shortage of donors.
