In addition, he enjoyed playing golf with friends and family. He was a member of the Georgetown Country Club, Haverhill Country Club, and Heritage Palms Country Club in Florida. He spent lots of time in Fort Myers beach with his wife Janice and his family. Al cherished the stories he told and memories he made with his four grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer J. Coughlin and her partner Eddie Vickers, of Dracut, and Joyce A. Crowley and her husband Rex, of Windham, NH: four grandchildren, Nicole Crowley, Julie Coughlin, Jada Coughlin, and Nathan Crowley. He was the brother of Robert Woodman and his late wife Ellie, of Quincy, Jane Carbone and her late husband Vinnie, of Punta Gorda, FL, William Woodman and his wife Sharon, of Revere, Mary E. "Dolly" Lennon and her late husband James, of Somerville, the late John and James Woodman. He leaves many nieces and nephews.
