Alberto Lopez, Sr. Obituary
Alberto F. Lopez, Sr., age 83, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Alberto was born in Hondo, Texas on April 9, 1942, to Josefina and Isabel Lopez.
Alberto is preceded in death by his beloved parents: Isabel and Josefina Lopez; beloved sister: Alicia Barrios; and beloved great-grandson: Adrian Constante.
Alberto is survived by his loving wife: Louisa Lopez; son: Albert Lopez, Jr. (Stephanie Mendoza) of Hondo; daughters: Delma Villarreal (David) of Hondo, Olga Lopez of Hondo, Lori Garza (Sean) of Hondo, and Deborah Martinez (George) of St. Hedwig; sisters: Elena Garcia of Kerrville, and Julie Valenzuela of Hondo; brother: Alfonso Lopez of San Antonio; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
On Friday, April 25, 2025, Recitation of the Rosary will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m., and will conclude with interment at Hondo Cemetery.
