In Loving Memory of Albert (aka Alberto) Salazar Lozano
It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Albert, who left us on January 13, 2025, at the age of 76. A beloved father, devoted member of the Church of Christ, Army veteran and passionate karaoke enthusiast, Albert's life was defined by his love for God, family, his country, and the open road.
Albert spent many years as a dedicated truck driver, where he traveled far and wide throughout the western United States to provide for his wife and children, forming lifelong friendships along the way. His career was a testament to his hard work, commitment, and determination. But despite the miles he logged, his heart remained anchored at home with his family.
Albert was an incredibly loving father to his three daughters. He cherished them deeply, always providing wisdom, support, and unwavering love. His pride in them was immeasurable, and he was always there to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. His devotion to his daughters was one of his greatest joys, and his legacy lives on through them.
Albert was born in Mexico, in the state of Tamaulipas, but his family moved to the United States when he was a child. He worked as a migrant farm worker throughout his youth, following the crops and the seasons, growing up primarily in Texas and eventually graduating high school in California from Dos Palos High School in 1968. He became a U.S. citizen because he had a sincere love and appreciation for his adopted country. Albert was an Army veteran who proudly served two tours in South Vietnam, in the 25th Infantry Division. He was a lifelong member of VFW Post 1981 in
Madera, CA. We thank him for his service.
A man of great faith, Albert was deeply involved in his church and found solace and purpose in his spiritual community. He had a beautiful voice and a love for singing church hymns and karaoke, which was something that brought joy to those around him. He had a special gift of making others smile, through his laughter, stories, art, and heartfelt conversations.
Albert is now reunited with his beloved wife, Juanita, who passed before him on October 15, 2020. The two shared a deep, unbreakable bond, and Albert now joins her in eternal peace.
Albert's passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who loved him. He was a man who gave so much of himself to his family, his church, and his community, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his sister Esther, his three daughters, Janie, Esther and Kim, his many friends, and his extended family, all of whom will hold him close in their hearts forever. Albert's love, laughter, and devotion will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at All Faiths Funeral Home, 801 E. Yosemite Avenue in
Madera, CA 93638.
The chapel service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., at All Faiths Funeral Home, 801 E. Yosemite Avenue in
