It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Alberto "Tito" Ramirez Samperio, who departed this world far to early on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 46, following a tragic car accident that also claimed the lives of his cherished daughters, Isabella and Vivienne.
Alberto is lovingly remembered by his wife, Ann Samperio; his children, Gabriel and Alexander; his parents, Laura Samperio and Alberto Ramirez; his siblings, Carlos, Julia, and Karla; his beloved nephews, Julio and Giancarlo; and countless friends and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.
Alberto was born on May 31, 1979, in Mexico City, Mexico, the second of four children. His parents recall his joyful spirit from the time he was a baby, always cheerful, kind, and respectful to family, classmates, neighbors and friends. His radiant smile drew people to him throughout his life.
Alberto was a very special person, he was an innate leader, who faced life with optimism and hope. Energetic and fearless, he learned to drive at the age of 13 in Mexico City and, at 16, began riding motorcycles, a passion he inherited from his father. For Alberto, riding motorcycles and racing was more than a hobby, it was his therapy, a way to free his mind and embrace the thrill of life.
In 1999, at the age of 19, he moved to Alexandria, Virginia, where he built a life filled with joy and love. On July 4, 2014, he proudly became a United States citizen in a beautiful ceremony at Mt. Vernon, Virginia - a moment of deep pride for him and his family.
Alberto's enthusiasm for life extended to many passions he shared with his children. He loved warm weather, the beach, and summers at the pool. Domino games with his brother and cousins brought laughter, while motorcycle racing, bike rides, cooking family recipes, and cheering for his favorite soccer team, Club América, filled his days with joy and tradition.
He was known for his affection, often giving loved ones special nicknames. Service came naturally to him; if he wasn't working on his own projects, he was helping someone else with theirs. A creative and curious problem-solver, Alberto loved to learn, build, and repair; he was always eager to take things apart and put it back together.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Alberto founded Astro Communications, which later expanded into home improvement services rebranding it as Astro Services, a business he named in honor of his father. Clients and friends alike remember him as incredibly knowledgeable, humble, fair, attentive, and professional, qualities that earned lasting trust and respect.
Alberto carried that same pride and determination into his own personal life, serving his family and community with generosity. A member of his apartment complex HOA Board of Directors and an active volunteer at Saint Ambrose Catholic school and church. Alberto as always ready to give his time and energy to others. Alberto left a mark on his neighbors and community, who could always count on him for support.
Above all, Alberto was devoted to his family. Protective and selfless, he prioritized the wellbeing of his loved ones, whether by standing up for his siblings, cooking homemade meals for his family, or spending time with his children and friends. His love for Gabriel, Vivi, Alex, and Isabella was boundless, and he embraced his nephews, Julio and Giancarlo, as if they were his own children.
He will also be deeply remembered and missed by his life long, brother-like friends, whose lives he touched with loyalty, laughter, and love.
Alberto leaves behind a legacy of love, empathy, and service. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, generosity, devotion to family, and the radiant smile he passed down to his children.
May Alberto's memory be a blessing!
