ALBERTO TABOADA San Antonio, Texas - Alberto Taboada, age 46, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2023 at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio, Texas with his devoted wife, Ruby, at his side. Alberto was born December 23, 1976 to Jesse and Sylvia Taboada in Distrito Federal Mexico City and raised in Merida, Yucatan. Alberto was a long time resident of Alice, Texas, where he worked for the City of Alice for 17 years as a licensed equipment operator for parks and recreation. He was a loving and caring father, son, brother, and friend who will be missed by all of his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Jesse (Jesus) Taboada of Merida, Yucatan. The family he leaves to cherish his memories are his children and wife Alberto Andres (Joyce) Taboada of Kingsville, Texas, Arturo Alejandro Taboada of Alice, Texas, Lilliana Rosas of Alice, Texas and Rubelda (Luna) of Alice, Texas, his mother Sylvia Taboada of Merida, Yucatan, and 2 brothers Arturo (Yeskia) Taboada of Cancun, Mexico and Alejandro (Cynthia) Taboada of Merida, Yucatan. He will be missed by his numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to Roberson Funeral Home, Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant, Doctor's Regional Day Surgery Nurses, Dr. Bryant, Ultrasound Department, Samantha, Jessica, and April. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 5:30 pm followed by a funeral service.
