Albin A. Mazzocut

Albin A. Mazzocut, a longtime resident of Mahopac, NY passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the age of 87. He was born in Yonkers, NY on August 9, 1937, the son of Albin and Helen (Bartinelli) Mazzocut, Italian immigrants.
Albin earned an Associate's Degree at Westchester Community College and served in the Army National Guard. He was a retired land surveying manager at Con Edison, working out of the Eastview location. He worked for Con Edison for 34 exemplary years prior to retirement at 55 years old and then continued his sole proprietorship land surveying business for another 20+ years. Albin was an honest, sincere, hard-working family man. He was a husband & father of the highest character. His presence was always real & supportive & will be missed by many.
On November 26, 1960 he married his high school sweetheart, Dolores M. Perna at St. John the Evangelist Church in Yonkers. Albin was an exceptional caretaker of Dolores for the last 25+ years. Albin is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dolores. In addition to Dolores, he is survived by his children, Albin Jr., Gary (Debra) and Dr. Lisa Siino (Anthony) and his grandsons, Christopher (Debra) and Giovanni (Anthony).
Friends and family may call on Monday, January 13 from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 14 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Interment will follow at Ballard-Barrett Cemetery, Mahopac Falls, NY.
