Alden Lee Bashline, 18
Alden Lee Bashline, 18 of Ashland passed away on Monday morning, November 4, 2024 in his home after a courageous lifetime battle fighting muscular dystrophy.
He was born on October 17, 2006 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Kailey Krebs and Dennis Bashline Jr.
From an early age, Alden earned the name, Aldenator, from his loving parents. Growing up Alden was fascinated with all things mechanical.
He was an avid Penn State Football fan. This Saturday, Penn State will have a moment of silence, in loving memory of their biggest fan Alden.
Aside from his love of football, Alden loved to be in the water, from swimming to drinking the ice-cold beverage. To say that Alden was a Lego enthusiast would be an understatement.
He was in the junior class of Ashland High School, graduating next year in 2026.
Alden is survived by his loving mother, Kailey Krebs of Ashland; his father, Dennis Bashline Jr. of Bradford, Pennsylvania; his maternal grandmother, Sandra (Michael) Valentine of Ashland; his maternal grandfather, Bill Krebs of New Washington; his paternal grandmother, Darlene (Tink) Mealy of Florida; his paternal grandfather, Dennis Bashline Sr. of Crestline; his siblings, Navaeh Krebs, Aaron Becknell-Marx, Easton Bashline, and Ava Bashline; and his aunts and uncles, Julie Krebs of Bloomville, Bobby Krebs of Mansfield, Kaylee Bashline of Mansfield, and Sonja (Denny) Wineberg of Pennsylvania.
An interment service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crawford County Memorial Park, 6594 Old Lincoln Hwy, Crestline, OH 44827 with Father Eric Mueller presiding.
