Alec Taylor Wells, 30, of Waynesfield, Ohio, died 9:53 pm, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Auglaize County. He was born July 2, 1994, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Carl Wells Jr. (Eddie) of South Shore, Kentucky, and Terry (Harvey) Mathias of Reynoldsburg,
He married the love of his life, Tasia Wells, on July 19, 2016. They have 2 children, Logan J. Wells (7) and Naomi M. Wells (5). He has 2 siblings, Jarrod (Ashley) Wells, Quincy, KY, and Lakin (Jordan) Mathews, Chillicothe, Ohio, He has several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his grandparents, Carl and Patricia Wells, Quincy, Kentucky, mother-in-law, April Sinift of Logan, Ohio, father-in-law, Delmar (Lara) Sinift of Logan, Ohio, sister-in-law, Sharlyn (Aidan) Oldham of Lancaster, and brother-in-law, Phoenix Sinift of Logan
Alec worked at Honda of America transmission plant in Russells Point, Ohio. He graduated from Greenup County High School, Kentucky. Alec loved spending time with his family as well as fitness, riding his motorcycle, and video games.
Funeral Services will be 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Waynesfield Chapel of the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Blake Bevins officiating. The showing for family and friends will be from 2-5 p.m., Sunday.
