Alex J Barber

Alex J. Barber, 68, of Crivitz passed away unexpectedly Monday October 20, 2025. He was born January 31, 1957 in Cudahy, WI to the late Donald and Mary Ann (Zsebe) Barber. He graduated from Cudahy High School with Honors in 1975, attended Idaho State University, became an ordained Baptist minister in 1989, and last worked at Army Depot in Sacramento CA as a machinist.
Alex loved his children and grandchildren, deeply expressing, "Beep beep, honk honk, oogah oogah." Although he roamed far and wide during his youth, he found solace at the end of his life living with his two youngest children. He spent countless hours with his grandchildren, spoiling them every chance he could. He never turned down having a good time, and his laugh was infectious. He was a man who wasn't afraid to show his emotions. He will be deeply missed.
Father of Melissa (Alan) Jacobson, Maryana Barber, and Jacob Barber. Grandfather of Zoe, Claire, Crystal, Kenzee, Katie, and Zelda.
Brother of Margaret (late John) York, Donna (Louis) Roberts, Donald Barber Jr., Joyce (late Mark) Champion, late Laura (Jon) Peresse, and Roger Barber. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
