A memorial mass will be held at 9 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Cathedral Basilica in St. Augustine.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home in is in charge of arrangements.

I was devastated after hearing of Dr. Pulido's passing; I have been a patient since I moved to Palatka five years ago. My condolences go out his family. So sorry for their loss. He was such a great doctor, and so kind. I will truly miss him.

Alex was so special to all his staff and patients and our hearts are broken. I was a long time patient of his Dad's and when he retired he said "My son is opening a practice in Palatka..you'll love him, he even sounds like me" and we became patients. We grew to love him as we loved his dad...as a friend and a Dr. Yes, hydration was very important but every time he asked me to stick out my tongue I'd say "you first" and he did. RIP dear friend and Dr who is greatly missed by all his patients and his fantastic staff. You will never be forgotten! Prayers for his children and may they find peace.

Our hearts are so saddened to hear of the passing of Alex. We had finally found a practice where we felt like we were home. Such a wonderful loving office and always so good to us. Don´t know what we will do now without him. Our love and prayers for his staff and especially his loving family and friends

My husband, Fred, and I were Dr. Pulido's patients for many years until we sold our home and moved in 2019. We are both up in years, and he was always kind, compassionate, never condescending and truly interested in our well-being. We have yet to find such a physician and often speak of the special and gentle care we received from him. He spoke of his family lovingly, and we came to feel that he was not just our doctor but a friend. God speed to a special doctor and human being.

Dr. Pulido was such a joy to interact with. You can tell how much he cared for his staff and patients. I pray for peace for the family and and many people that are hurting from his passing. He will be missed by many.

He was my Doctor. I feel a great loss as he was a good Doctor. I had confidence in him. I don't feel that way for most. He showed compassion, was caring, and just had a glowing persona. I will greatly miss him. I prayed for his family,his staff and his patients to find comfort as I know he will be missed.

Dr. Pulido was "all about hydration" and would always give me "that look" when he'd checked my white tongue--and firmly encourage me, yet again, to try harder with the water intake. It was always obvious that his bed-side manner came from a place of deep caring and concern for his patient's well-being. I will forever miss his gentle nagging at me to drink more water, and I will do so now in his honor and memory. God bless and comfort the wife and kids he left behind.

We are heartbroken at the loss of our dear friend, Alex. Watching his love for his beautiful wife Gaby and their loving children over the years makes me so sad to see them without him. This man was my role model. When I came to work for him I had no idea that he would treat me more like family than anything. There was never a dumb or stupid question when it came to this man. He was fiercely loyal and a huge contributor to our community. I have watched him work many miracles. He loved his beautiful smart children dearly and was so extremely proud of them! It was an honor to work beside you sir. My heart is totally broken but I am at peace knowing you are in a better place. God needed you more than we did right now. Rip Dr.Pulido you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I will strive daily to honor the time we did have with you. Until we meet again, Fly High.

Dr. Pulido was the first Dr. I went to after I moved back to Palatka after my husband died. He was amazing and understanding of everything I had gone through He helped me get out of depression and helped me to eat healthy so I didn't become a dietetic, which I was almost there. I just loved as myDr. But insurance changed and I had to change Drs. I alway recommended him to others. I will always be grateful to him.
I am sorry to hear of his passing. He was a very special man. I am praying for all the family and friends. My loves goes out to you all.

My heart is broken. Dr. Pulido was a wonderful, compassionate, and gentle soul. He helped me through some very difficult times. I am speechless at his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his children whom he adored. Condolences and prayers also for his wife, friends, staff, and all of his patients that loved him dearly. He will be so missed.
