Alex James Hallman

Alex James Hallman, age 38, passed away on October 19, 2024. 

He was born on September 13, 1986, in Alliance, to James W. Hallman and Connie M. (Matz) Hallman Hoover.

Alex was unconditionally committed to his family. He was a proud, supportive and loving husband, father and best friend.

Alex graduated from Marlington High School in 2005 and went on to attend Stark State College. He worked as the lead HVAC technician at Aultman Hospital for 13 years. Alex was larger than life and had a commanding presence. He filled every room and event with his captivating spirit. Alex’s joys of life were riding dirt bikes, camping and wrestling. He was a fundamental asset and coach of Marlington Youth wrestling program. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ali Hallman; children, Cooper, Ila and Nash Hallman; his parents, Connie (Greg) Hoover and Jim (Cheryl) Hallman; sister-in-law, Kali Hallman; and niece, Vivian Hallman.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ross Hallman.

Visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, October 24th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. 

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m.
