A funeral service will be held Graveside on Sunday at 2:30 PM in Vanceboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro.
Alex loved spending every moment that he could with his children, which meant the world to him. He also enjoyed gilling, playing sports with his family, and fishing. Every chance he got, he would pass on valuable lessons which he had learned along his journey; some of which were to never judge a person before you get the chance to know them; and always stand up for yourself and those that you love. Alex will be deeply missed; to truly know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, Tony Hart; and grandfather, Jerry Hart. He is survived by his daughter, Sophia Hart; son, Levi Hart; mother, Donna Hart-Rodriguez; step-father Francisco Rodriguez; grandmother, Janet Adams; brothers, Nicholas Hart, Francisco Rodriguez-Hart, and Phillip Rodriguez-Hart; nephew, Bryson Hart; uncle, Jerry Hart, Jr.; aunt, Juvy Hart; and cousins, Johnathan Hart, Jessica Wilburn, Christina Hart, and Jack Hart.
