Allene Woolard Haddock

Mrs. Allene Woolard Haddock, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 2PM, in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel-Vanceboro. A visitation will be prior to the service from 1PM-2PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Celestial Memorial Gardens in Vanceboro.

Momma was such an amazing woman. She loved working and rearranging things in the yard and in her flower beds. She loved visiting Beaufort, NC to see the wild ponies.

Momma's home was the gathering place! You would get a glimpse of every season when you visited. She enjoyed leaving Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving items all around her home all year long. Momma also loved cooking and sending you home with leftovers. She was known and loved for her homemade pies and chocolate fudge! When visiting you were sure to find her watching her favorite old-time westerns on TV or playing cards with her family at the dinner table. Momma loved to joke and would keep you laughing, always smiling and making you smile. She was selfless, never complained and loved Jesus! She was ready when HE escorted her to her Heavenly Home.

Most of all, Allene loved her children and grandchildren, and was the best Mom in the world. She will truly be missed.

Allene was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Church and Bessie Davis Mobley; first husband, Billy Woolard; second husband, Tommie Haddock; and a son-in-law, John Andrews.

Allene is survived by her children, Terry Riggs and husband, Ronnie, Sandra Canady Holt, Billy Woolard, Jr. and wife, Billie Jean, and Angela Allene Woolard; grandchildren, Ronnie, Jr. and wife, Jenny, Bryce, Madi, Jodi, Matthew, Jonathan and wife, Sarah, Grace and husband, Josh, Jessica, Haley and husband, Gary, Tori, and Heather; and great-grandchildren, Caiden, Whitley, Kylie, Brantley, and Jameson.
