Alexander A. Ceschin, 92, of Whitehall, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Dianne (Coyle) Ceschin, with whom he shared over 68 years of marriage. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Alessandro and Ruth (Bedotto) Ceschin. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. For over 30 years, he worked at Mack Trucks as a stock handler until retiring. He was a kind man who will be remembered for his love of animals, spending time with his family, attending card club and reading.
Survivors: wife Dianne; daughters Kelly J. Acker and her husband David of Coplay; Tracy L. Ceschin and her wife Deena Linn of Allentown; sister Denise Rosch and her husband William of Quakertown; 2 grandchildren Alexander Acker and Caitlin Condash and her husband Cassady; 2 great granddaughters Whitney and Casey; as well as nieces and nephews.
Services: 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 14 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Calling will begin at 1:30 PM. Military Honors to Follow.
Contributions can be made to Peaceable Kingdom, c/o the funeral home.

"A Korean War veteran has passed away today." Alex, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow war veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
