Alexander Valenzuela-Lara

Alexander Valenzuela-Lara, age 17, of Saline, Michigan, passed away on July 20, 2024.
Alexander, affectionately known as "Ricky," was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on October 29, 2006, to his loving parents, Jorge Valenzuela-Hernandez and Angela Maria Lara-Martinez.
He is survived by his parents, Jorge and Angela; his girlfriend, Lesley Chavez; siblings, Pablo (Casandra) and Ashley; his cousin, whom he viewed as a sister, Eva Valenzuela-Lara; his paternal grandparents, Maria Hernandez and Teleasforo Valenzuela; and his maternal grandmother, Evangelina Martinez-Portela.
Alexander had a passion for cars from a young age. He enjoyed diagnosing problems and teaching himself how to fix them by watching YouTube videos. He had a deep love for music, embracing every genre, and would often dance along to his favorite songs. Among the most cherished things in his life was his dog, Rocky.
A funeral mass honoring Alexander's life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Student Parish Catholic Church, 331 Thompson Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48104. A visitation will follow the service from 1:00 until 9:00 pm at Nie Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48108.
Alexander's life and memory will live on with those blessed enough to know him.

El sábado 27 de julio a las 10:00 am se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre en honor a la vida de Alexander en la iglesia católica St. Mary's Student Parish, ubicada en 331 Thompson St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Después del servicio habrá un velorio de 1:00 a 9:00 pm en Nie Funeral Home, ubicada en 2400 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48108.
