Alfonso L. Ballesteros

Alfonso Ballesteros, Sr. beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed peacefully on September 9, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on July 3, 1943, Alfonso lived a life of devotion and love. He married the love of his life, Juanita Bejar Ballesteros, and together they shared 57 years of marriage, raising two children, Dr. Alfonso Guadalupe Ballesteros and Gricelda A. Ballesteros. His great joy in life came later in life when he became "Grandpa" to Lucas, Adaleigh, and Vivianna. Alfonso proudly served in the United States Army as a Vietnam War veteran. After returning home, he dedicated his career to serving the Harlandale Independent School District for 30 years in the maintenance and transportation department. He was a gentle spirit, great father, and loving grandfather who will always be cherished by those who loved him. A service honoring his life will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 9:00 AM. He will be laid to be rest following funeral services at Mission Burial Park South.
