Alfonso "Al" Campos

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Alfonso "Al" Campos, who left us on October 14, 2025, at the age of 84. He was a man defined by generosity, compassion, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.

Born in Coahuila Mexico, to Crisolfo and Ofelia Campos, he lived a life dedicated to cooking and feeding loved ones. Alfonso was a wonderful chef who expressed his love through food. His kitchen was always open, and he made sure his friends and family were well-fed with his delicious cooking. Sharing a meal with him meant sharing laughter, warmth, and a little piece of his generous spirit.

Alfonso's warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered. His legacy of love, generosity, and good food will live on in all who were fortunate to know him.

His memory will live through his children and grandchildren who were the light of his life. Alfonso's legacy will live on through the recipes he shared, the meals he lovingly prepared, and the generosity he showed to his family and everyone lucky enough to sit at his table.

He is survived by his siblings Roger (Elva) Campos and Maria (Bob) Lopez, his children Bobby (Shannon) Campos, Laurie (Marc) Page, Robyn (Chepo) Tiscareno, Gabriel Castañeda & Amanda Holt and his 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Juana Campos, son Hector Campos, and sister Yolanda Rodriguez.

He will be laid to rest on 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 7th, 2025, at Ivy Lawn Cemetery in Ventura Ca.
