Al proudly served his community in Philly as a police officer and his country in the Air Force. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and a leader within the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Louise Fiorucci; and siblings, Louis Fiorucci and Albert Fiorucci.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Diana Thornberry; children, Connie Shacklette (David) and Nicholas Fiorucci; grandchildren, Brandon Fiorucci (Kendra), Nathan Fiorucci (Julia), Connor Shacklette, and Parker Fiorucci; along with many friends and family.
Visitation will be held 2 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 5th at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive. His funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 7335 Southside Drive.

One of my first memories of Al was seeing him at Mass when my family and I had just moved from St. Rita's to OLMC. He was always so kind and welcoming and became a good friend of my parents. Its a comfort to know that he is up there in heaven with Dad looking down on us. Though I can't make it to the funeral, I'm there in spirit.
