Alfonso Rodriguez, 69, of Snyder passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with pastor Mark Jones officiating, burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
He was born on January 10, 1956 to Reymundo and Vicenta Rodriguez in Snyder, TX, where he
resided for the remainder of his life. He met the love of his life, Virginia Rodriguez, in 7th
grade and they later married in 1976. He dedicated 37.5 years to BNSF Railroad. Alfonso
spent his free time spoiling his family and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
He was also a devoted member of the Iglesia de Cristo here in Snyder.
He is survived by his wonderful wife of 48 years, Virginia- 2 daughters, Marcie (of
Snyder) and Melissa (of Roby)- 2 sons, Richard and Ramsey (of Snyder)- 5
granddaughters- Hayley, Joy, Layla, Brooklyn, and Braylee- 4 great grandchildren, a
brother Reymundo A. Rodriguez Jr. and wife Marie (of Snyder), sister Cruz Aviles and
husband Saul (of Snyder), sister Oralia Rodriguez (of Snyder)- and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter- Matilda, a brother- Ector
Rodriguez, and a sister- Marta Tijerina.
A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
