Poncho was born in Acapulco, Mexico, to Alfonso Salcedo Ramirez and Luz Marina Cobos de Salcedo. Siblings Norma Salcedo, and Jorge Salcedo. Survived by sister Monica Salcedo. Beloved father of Tony Lopez, Jaime Lopez, Christopher Salcedo, ex-wife and friend of 38 years Verna Mcgee.
Grandchildren Trinity, Eric, Tony, Harmony, Stephanie, Jake, Dustin. Great granddaughter Isabella, who will never know his love but had loved in the short time he had with her. Also, by nieces and nephews Erica, Fernando, Norma and Samantha that he loved as his own children. Owner and operator of the restaurant La Flor De Acapulco for over 60 years serving tourists from all around the world. He was loved by many and will be missed by everyone. His contributions to Acapulco are history and he will always be remembered as a part of the (ZOCOLO) community.
Services will be held on July 21, 2025, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home from 9am - 6pm. Blessing and service will start at 4pm. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
