He moved to Cherokee Village, Arkansas in 1996. He was a member of St. Michaels Church, Knights of Colombus, and VFW. He was an avid bingo player.
He is survived by his life partner of 37 years, Mary Jack; children, Sandy (Gary) Glennon, Stevens Point, WI, Patricia Czech (Jerry Panther) Minneapolis, MN, Mary Beth Czech, Minneapolis, MN, Sue (Kurt) Hoppe, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Mark (Debbie) Czech, Stevens Point, WI, Jackie (Perry) Chojnacki, Stevens Point, WI, John (Kim) Czech, Amherst, Wisconsin. Grandchildren, Aimee (Jeff) Koppensteiner, Ben (Caitlin) Glennon, Steve Glennon, Liz (Andy) Nemeth, Willie (Andrea) Hoppe, Christopher Czech, Adam (Kendall) Chojnacki, Abby (Jeremy) Ruiz, Leslie (Dustin) Hoffman, Mason Czech, Hadyn Czech; Great-grandchildren Otto Koppensteiner, Mave, Malia, Conor Glennon, Isaac, Nixon Czech, Jase, Livy Hoffman, Amelia, Addison, Nemeth, Oliver Hoppe.
He was preceded in death by Eileen Czech (1985), grandson Nick (2012), parents Felix and Mary Czech, sister Adelia Tuskowski, and brothers Hubert and Edmond Czech.
A memorial mass will be at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Cherokee Village, Arkansas on March 28th. Rosary will be held at 10:30, with Mass beginning at 11:00. Luncheon to follow.
Al will always be remembered for his warm smile and ready joke to make you laugh.
