Alfred Dolce "Fredo" of Brewster, NY passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the age of 68. Alfred was born in the Bronx, NY, on February 15, 1957, the son of Gaspar and Helen Palowoda Dolce.

Although Alfred worked as a craftsman alongside his brother Nick, his true passion was his love for the outdoors. From a young age, he developed a deep appreciation for outdoor sports, a passion that only grew throughout his life. He was eager to share this love with his family and friends, hoping to inspire in them the same joy and excitement he found in those activities. Whenever Alfred did something he did it to the fullest extent with all of his heart.

Alfred enjoyed fishing, motorsports, cycling, camping, clay shooting, and hunting. However, his greatest love was bird hunting, which he shared with his loyal dogs-Bubba, Maggie, and Little Joe.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Matthew and Gina; and granddaughters, Gianna, Mia, and Oakley.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, September 18 from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. Graveside committal services will take place on Friday, September 19 at 11 am at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Covered Bridge Road, Livingston Manor, NY. Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the cemetery as there will be no services at the funeral home prior.
