Alfred "Bo" Ercolani, 81, of Wallingford, loving husband of Maureen (Pasensky) Ercolani for 62 years, passed away peacefully October 11, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
Al was born in Meriden on November 2, 1942, a son of the late Alfred and Vesta (Chelifoux) Ercolani.
An electrician by trade, he worked for Plasticrete Block and Supply for several years before starting his own business, AE Electric in 1994 until retiring, although he continued to actively participate in the business.
Al enjoyed traveling and camping and taking his family on many wonderful vacations. He loved to winter in Florida with his wife, Maureen. He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the UCONN Women's Basketball Team.
He loved his family and always looked forward to family gatherings where everyone was together. Al is remembered as being a very clever, hard- working man. In addition to his wife, Maureen, he is survived by his children, Renee Ercolani, Joseph Ercolani, Todd Ercolani, Teresa Ercolani, Jeremy Ercolani, Jill Ercolani and Jason Ercolani (Kimberly Finoia); his sister, Karen Wines; his brother, Ronald Ercolani; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony and James Ercolani.
Al's family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 4 pm until 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, October 19, 2024 directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford.
