Alfred Wesley Zeigenbein

Alfred Wesley Zeigenbein, son of John and Della Fuller Zeigenbein, was born November 28, 1934, in Waynesville, Missouri and departed this life, June 14, 2022, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of eighty-seven years.
Alfred was united in marriage with Dorothy Eaken on May 1, 1953, and they shared sixty-nine years of love, laughter and wonderful memories together, while working each day, side by side.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Zeigenbein; one daughter, Joyce Fritts and her husband Charley of Richland, MO; two sons, Danny Zeigenbein and Greg Zeigenbein and his wife Julie, all of Richland, MO; one brother, Charlie Zeigenbein and his wife Claudette of Brumley, MO; ten grandchildren, Steven Zeigenbein and his wife Erin, Lori Kardosz and her husband Shane, Kimberly Latham and her husband Richard, Amy Payne and her husband Alex, Christian Zeigenbein, Cheyenne Zeigenbein, Trent Zeigenbein and his wife Eleashea, Kent Zeigenbein, Dillon Zeigenbein and his fiancee' Sydney Marcum and Macie Ragland; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; daughters-in-law, Shirley Zeigenbein, Wendy Zeigenbein, Cindy Zeigenbein and Teresa Zeigenbein; one sister-in-law, Veda Zeigenbein of Richland, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, many dear friends and neighbors.
Those preceding him in death include his parents; twin sons, Gary and Larry Zeigenbein and son, Don Zeigenbein; four brothers, Leland, Lloyd, Claudie and Donald Wayne Zeigenbein; and one sister, Lucene Holloway.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested in memory of Alfred to Richland R-4 Schools to be used for Richland FFA or Richland Athletics. Donations may be left at or mailed to Shadel's Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, 1001 Lynn Street, Lebanon, MO 65536.
